2021年4月10日上午，由郑州大学、河南工业大学、河南工程学院、中原工学院等高校材料专业相关负责人，和河南诺巴迪材料科技有限公司、郑州博特硬质材料有限公司等企业负责人筹备组成的“郑州市材料研究学会”在郑州光华大酒店正式成立，首届会员有来自郑州各地不同材料领域的专家、企业家共计66人。 “郑州市材料研究学会”业已通过了民政部门备案手续，本次会议又通过了合法选举程序，选出了郑州博特硬质材料有限公司董事长刘书锋先生任首届会长，中原工学院张旺玺教授任秘书长。 诺巴迪核心创始人徐晓冬教授在本次会议上做了重要讲话。徐教授首先对学会的顺利成立表示了祝贺，并就郑州首次拥有自己的MRS(材料研究学会)表示由衷的欣慰，愿意以诺巴迪多年的技术积累为学会的基础科学研究助力。 随着材料下游应用客户要求的不断提升，材料学科表现出极其强烈的跨学科交流的需求，金属、无机非金属、有机材料等从学科划分上有明显界限，但从应用上看，更多的是需要融合发展，才能创造出更为丰富的结构和功能产品。相信“郑州市材料研究学会”的成立将会在材料研究与应用领域整合各方资源，有效推动郑州新材料产业的发展。
